MAI launches air freight from Yangon to Bangkok

Myanmar Airways International (MAI) has launched an air freight transportation service of Yangon-Bangkok-Yangon flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 

MAI planned to use a Boeing 737 cargo plane in cooperation with My Indo Airlines to carry out air cargo transportation.

A Boeing 737 cargo plane from the MAI arrived at Yangon International Airport on September 13.

The airline has entered into a joint venture with My Indo Airlines (2Y) based on the ACMI system and will operate the cargo aircraft.
