Inya Lake Hotel latest heritage-status location

The Yangon Heritage Trust awarded its prestigious Blue Plaque to the Inya Lake Hotel, for its post-war functionalist architecture beside the stunning Inya Lake – an icon of the city.

The award is the 36th to be awarded to historic locations. The hotel was designed in the post war period between 1958 to 1962. The ceremony took place last Tuesday, on February 18.
